Our family moved here in the middle of the big snow storm in December of 1996, due to a job transfer to Port Angeles. However, that was just the means for our move! I have always known that it was God who transplanted me here. And I am grateful! Even though IBC was much larger than we were accustomed to, we chose IBC for the strong, biblical teaching, and the fellowship of believers.

I consider myself a relational task oriented worker. I enjoy connecting people to ministry opportunities where they can function in their spiritual gifts, skills, and talents, as well as matching people to groups where they can fellowship and learn God's Word. I also take delight in a balanced spreadsheet and seeing many details come together to complete a bigger picture! I have been blessed to serve on staff at IBC for 15 years as a secretary, bookkeeper, as well as seven years as a Student Administrative Assistant.

My husband, Joe Sutton, and I have four grown children, and two grandchildren. As often as allows, you will find me spending time with family.

One of my favorite all-time books is "The Valley of Vision: A Collection of Puritan Prayers" edited by Arthur Bennett. This era of devotion captures my heart, as do hymns, modern hymns and high energy praise courses!

I love the Scriptures, and one of my life verses is Psalm 27:4 "One thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple."
