The Upper Room is a casual Saturday evening gathering in downtown Port Angeles, where a growing number of people gather together for worship. There are college students, single adults, married couples, grandparents, and children. People who participate come from a variety of backgrounds. We are a blend of those who have church experience, those who have no church experience, and those who have been disconnected from church involvement and are seeking to re-engage. Whatever your background, we welcome you!

What to expect
First off—you can relax. You’re among friends. Whether you’ve never been in church before or you’re new to our Saturday worship service, you can anticipate an encouraging & enlightening experience! Our Saturday night worship service starts at 6 p.m. and is an experience designed to equip and inspire youth and adults to live life as their heavenly Father designed it to be lived. If you want a church that has worship music that rocks, a message that is relevant to what you are going through in your life, and where it’s absolutely unacceptable for you to have to deal your problems by yourself then we are the church for you.
We meet every Saturday evening at 6 pm in Downtown Port Angeles (112 N. Lincoln St.) so come check us out for yourself. At Upper Room we like to say no perfect people allowed. Our church isn’t perfect, but it’s real, honest, and serious about getting to know God. It’s a place where you can bravely ask the most basic questions about God and not feel uncomfortable. A place where you are loved no matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done. A place where you can find hope and discover what following God is all about.
You don’t have to dress up. You don’t have to pretend your life is perfectly in order. You’ll find a friendly, relaxed place where you can be yourself. You’ll be encouraged, challenged, and taught how to connect with God. You’ll hear teaching you can apply to your life today. You might even experience worship in a way you never have before.
We want people to see Jesus for who he really is and to begin a relationship with him. As a church, we want to do life together, as we seek to grow and understand what God has in store for our lives.
