Services Cancelled 2/9 - 2/10

Due to inclement weather, icy road conditions and safety concerns, all church services (Upper Room on Saturday and Main Services on Sunday) are cancelled for Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10th.

Stay safe and warm!

A message from Pastor Aaron on Saturday, February 9th:

Good afternoon IBC family! I trust some of you are enjoying the snow and I'm guessing others are looking at snowbird options in Arizona right now. Even though we've experienced a very mild winter up to this point, I pray that you are able to make the most of this opportunity to either "hunker down" and be blessed by much needed down time OR at the very least, reengage those shoveling muscles that have been dormant for a long time.

Since we decided against taking chances on road conditions & snow driving capability, I want to offer you a couple suggestions to initiate in your home tomorrow morning as a way of family devotions/worship:

  1. check out "New City Catechism"--you can download the app on your phone OR just Google it. There are 52 lessons that you can lead your family through an entire year and they deal with foundational truths of the Christian faith. They also have a "kid friendly" version that suits families of younger children.
  2. If you are already signed up, you can watch a video on "Right Now Media." This has great material for all ages/seasons of life.
  3. Read a Proverb & discuss (did you know that you can go through the book of Proverbs every month if you read a chapter a day?).

I hope these suggestions help you in your intentional time together tomorrow morning. Click this link for other helpful suggestions in leading family devotions/worship.

Looking forward to seeing you all again next weekend (Lord-willing)

A new sermon series on the Gospel of Matthew began December 15th (in the Upper Room) and 16th.  Pastor Mike will opened the series with the message, "Credentials of the King, Heart of the Savior".  Please come and join us and learn the great news about how Jesus can be the King of your heart as well as your Savior.

Unable to come and hear the message in person?  The messages in the series can be heard online after they have been delivered in the Sermons section.

During February, we’ll be collecting white socks of all sizes for our kids in Children of the Nations

You may put them in the COTN basket in the foyer of the Worship Center at the Ahlvers Road campus.

If you prefer, you may donate online.
